The End of Sale date is April 6th, 2022. From this date forward, no new DDoS Defender orders will be accepted, and associated new product sales SKUs will be removed from global price lists. Support and subscription renewal SKUs will remain available until 12 months before the product end of support date.
The End of Support date for DDoS Defender is December 31st, 2024. All current DDoS Defender customers (customers with active support or subscription) will continue to have the option to renew their support or subscription for one or more periods ending no later than December 31st, 2024, to provide them with enough time to migrate to another solution.
The primary rationale is to align all of our efforts and resources more closely with our Application Experience (AX) vision and strategy, creating connected value with our portfolio of Flowmon, LoadMaster, and WhatsUpGold to focus on extending NPMD (Network Performance Monitoring and Diagnostics) and NDR (Network Detection and Response) use case coverage.
At this time, we are not planning on any direct replacement products or solutions for DDoS Defender within our portfolio.
Support, updates, and patches will continue through the end of 2024 in accordance with Flowmon’s standard support policies. Based on your general evaluation timelines, we would recommend that you start the process to explore alternative replacement solutions ahead of that date.
