The result provides controlled data generation for testing network monitoring devices. It consists of a catalogue of selected network traffic samples and tools that can create an anonymised network profile and generate test datasets based on traffic analysis of a real network. Network interfaces of 1/10/100Gbps are supported for testing purposes, with regular commodity cards being used to replay traffic and special firmware for the network FPGA card being used for stress scenarios.
